Really friendly staff and cosy place for a drink. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

I regularly meet friends for lunch during the week when I'm at work. The Castle is by far one of the best pubs in Bedford Town Centre for service, food and the lovely friendly atmosphere. Nothing is ever too much for Roland & Kay and I would recommend to anyone.

Third time we have stayed at The Castle so they must be doing something right. Rooms very clean and tidy. Good range of real ales and decent wines on offer. Full English breakfast was very good. All staff very friendly.

Absolutely fantastic place. The landlord and landlady are lovely who employ very good staff. The food is second to none with lovely wine to go with the varied homemade meals. My family have stayed in the hotel part of the hotel and they have not a bad thing to say.

Had lunch here for the first time and it will not be the last. Friendly and helpful staff and great food. Four "old" school friends and I met here for our monthly lunch and we will certainly go again.

The Castle is is brilliantly situated for all ammenities and you can walk every where once there. The landlord & landlady were so friendly & welcoming. Rooms really clean. All staff polite & helpful and a nice breakfast. Will be paying a return visit, A friendly, busy pub,

Since the current management took over The Castle has gone from strength to strength. Really friendly atmosphere with welcoming bar staff and management and the beer is excellently served - always fresh and just the right temperature.

As a result from being an occasional visitor it's pretty much become my go to pub in Bedford.

Highly recommend the blue cheese and bacon burger (called The British).

I stayed at The Castle Sunday night (bank holiday weekend) and was I in for a treat! Not only was the accommodation fantastic for the price, I was made feel welcome in the pub by the landlord and landlady for the whole evening!

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Well kept and extremely clean.

The breakfast in the morning was also very good. Will stay again very soon I'm sure!

Room Tip: Drink the Young's London Stout! It was better than Guinness

Thank you very much for your service during our stay at The Castle, we really enjoyed our stay and may, in future, call upon you to put us up once again.  We liked the central location and the ability to be able to virtually walk anywhere to conduct our business.
